Subhas Chandra Bose biopic announced: Aryan Shyam to lead historical epic

Gemini Film Circuit has officially announced a new biographical feature film based on the life of Subhas Chandra Bose, one of India’s most influential freedom fighters and nationalist leaders.

The upcoming historical drama will star Aryan Shyam in the lead role, with filmmaker Anand V. Prasad attached to direct. The project aims to present a sweeping account of Bose’s life, tracing his contributions to India’s independence movement and his enduring impact on the nation’s history.

According to the makers, the film will explore key moments from Bose’s journey, including his leadership of the Indian National Army (INA) and his vision for an independent India. The production is being developed as a large-scale period film, with the studio promising extensive historical researchand high production value.

Speaking about the role, Aryan Shyam said, “Portraying a great national leader like Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose on screen is both an immense honor and a tremendous responsibility. I am committed to doing complete justice to the legacy of a remarkable personality who helped shape our nation through his sacrifices and noble ideals.”

Director Anand V. Prasad said the film seeks to inspire younger generations by highlighting values such as patriotism, discipline, and public service. He expressed hope that the story would encourage more young people to consider serving the nation, including through the armed forces.

The film is being produced by Gemini Film Circuit, with Peru Tulasi Palani Vel serving as executive producer. Pre-production is currently underway, while principal photography is scheduled to begin later this year.
