‘Alpha’ trailer: Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh team up against Bobby Deol in YRF’s spy thriller

The trailer of Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh’s upcoming spy-actioner, Alpha, was unveiled by the makers on Wednesday (June 17, 2026). Directed by Shiv Rawail, the film also features Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol along with a cameo by Hrithik Roshan.

The trailer introduces Alia as an assassin trained by the character of Bobby, who names her Sita. However, he turns into her foe and she is shown to be fighting against him. Along the way, she encounters Sharvari, who joins her on the journey. Anil is also on a quest to stop Bobby from unleashing his plans. The trailer is filled with action-packed visuals of Alia and Sharvari engaging in fight sequences. It ends with a short visual teasing the presence of Hrithik Roshan in the film as Alia and Sharvari are seen going to seek his help in their fight against Bobby.

Written by Soumil Shukla and Shridhar Raghavan, the film is based on a story by Uday Chopra and features dialogues by Ishita Moitra. It has music by Rohansh and Abeer, who have also contributed to the lyrics along with Kumaar, Anvitaa Dutt and Kausar Munir.

Produced by Aditya Chopra and co-produced by Akshaye Widhani, Alpha will be released in theatres on July 3.
